Welcome to first grade!

I am one of the first grade teachers here at Columbia! I was born and raised in Mount Vernon. I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University where I studied Early Childhood Education and played softball. I also received my Masters Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I still live in Mount Vernon with my husband Joe and our son Cal. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, exercising, kayaking, reading, decorating and shopping.  I have a passion for teaching kids and I am so excited to continue to do that this year!
