Hello! I am Mrs. Taylor and this is my eleventh year teaching 2nd grade at East Elementary. Prior to coming to East, I taught Kindergarten and Third Grade at East Knox Elementary and First Grade at St. Vincent de Paul School. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education and my Master's degree in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University. I have been a classroom teacher for the past 20 years.
I grew up on a small family farm in Wapakoneta, Ohio and enjoyed showing pigs at the fair. I am the youngest of four children and family is very important to me! My husband Dean and I live in Mt. Vernon with our 3 boys, Tristen (21), Zachary (14), and Ethan (13). I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside.
