First Grade

First grade is an amazing year of growth!  Students gain independence and flourish as they explore reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.  We read narratives and lots of informational texts.  We write personal narratives, opinion pieces, and informational pieces.  We explore content areas through reading, writing, and exploring.  It is an exciting journey to witness!
