Mr. Vanderhoof teaches chemistry, robotics engineering and engineering project lab. Mr. Vanderhoof studied Chemistry and Spanish at Denison University and received his graduate degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Mr. Vanderhoof is a licensed commercial drone pilot and received his training through Drone Pilot Ground School.
Mr. Vanderhoof has four children in the district at East Elementary and Mount Vernon Middle School, and Mount Vernon High School. He also has a new baby that will attend the district in a few years.
