I was born and raised in Mount Vernon and graduated from Mount Vernon High School. I attended The Ohio State University and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Business. When I met my husband, he loved Mount Vernon and insisted that we raise a family here. We are blessed with 6 amazing children and have given another son and daughter when two of our kids got married. We have 3 grandchildren who keep us busy and bring joy to us daily. All six of our kids attended Columbia! Our two youngest will graduation from Mount Vernon High School this year. Our four oldest children have graduated from college and are spread out throughout the country: one in Ohio, one in Florida, one in Chicago, and one in Seattle. We have 2 dogs: Gracie and Duke.
My favorite thing to do is be with my family. I love watching my kids play sports, playing with my grandkids, taking walks, biking, sitting by the fire, traveling to see my kids and just spending time together, I am so very thankful for the opportunity to work with the staff and students of Columbia Elementary. It is a pure joy for me to see the kids every day. They warm my heart.
