April Thompson has been teaching at Mount Vernon Middle School since 2007. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned both her BS and MS in Middle Childhood Education. She currently lives in Mount Vernon with her husband Adam, her daughter Sydney, her son Carter and their puggle Ralphie. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
